Save your brownies for special days...You all must be wondering, how much she bakes must be painful. But i am honestly in love with it. I need a reason to bake and sometimes nothing just a new recipe or I need to click. So for special days I have some easy recipes like this one. It’s my mom’s birth day and every day she will tell me don’t cook so much, you must reduce. Trust me I don’t eat sweets. Just like all of you I am missing my Family and can’t travel as of now,but celebrate from far.
These are the worst times, but a ray of light gives us hope. When I see my son happily playing at home, helping me around really give me lot of strength. I am sure you must be having that little strength around the corner; you just need to reach out and hold on.Its the 8th month and august is the month of birth days in my Family.So here I am to cheer for them and for all of you. We have made this far; we all will rise above and shine Hold on tight and share your love...... and keep baking....
Ingredients
• 1 cup All Purpose Flour (Maida)
• 1/2teaspoon Baking Powder
• A pinch baking soda
• 1/3 cup Cocoa Powder
• 1/4 teaspoon Salt
• 1 cup melted dark chocolate
• 1/2 cup Butter (make it 3/4 cup if you want more fudgy)
• 3/4 cup Yogurt
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
• 3/4 cup powdered Sugar (make it 1 cup if you want more fudgy)
• 1/2 cup Walnuts
Instructions
1.Preheat oven to 180C/350.
2.Line baking tin with parchment paper and brush with butter.
3.Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder in a bowl and set aside.
4.In another bowl take melted chocolate and butter and mix. Mix well and add yogurt, vanilla extract and sugar. Whisk well for 1-2 minutes.
5.Add the liquid mixture to the flour mixture and mix till combined. The mixture will be on the thicker side. Fold in the walnuts, or you can sprinkle them on top.
6.Pour into the prepared pan bake at 180 for 40 minutes. Start checking if the brownies are cooked by inserting a fork or toothpick in the centre.
Let it cool down before cutting into slices and serve.
